As you can see in the photo, my mum's roof/chimneys were a mess - it was raining in her bedroom. With 3 chimneys and very large roof, my mum's old victorian house was in a bad way. Bob was like a police detective, hunting out the exact cause of the issue to save my mum as much money as possible. At a very frail old age of 79 years, the stress was making mum ill. Bob could have charged tens of thousands replacing the whole roof, instead he patiently took time and care to find the exact cause of the water damage, explaining every step and repair. The reassurance, kindness and care he showed my mum is amazing. How many builders stay in contact months later to check their customers are OK? I needed all the guttering replacing on my house, we had a discussion over the phone first which was useful. On the day of the job Bob pointed out that I needed some extra work done, he took the time to explain exactly what the extra work was, why it would be wise to get it done and how much it would cost.
